The rising cost of living is pushing people out of Long Island. The best tool we have to fight back? A union contract. Organized labor ensures Nassau County workers get the wages they need to actually live in the communities they serve.

You don’t need a four-year degree to help build Long Island’s energy future. You need an apprenticeship, a union card, and somebody willing to invest in the pipeline. That’s not a consolation-prize career path. That’s a good one, and it deserves to be protected.

Building Our Communities. Leading Our Future.
For nearly four decades, Adolfo DiCosmo has built more than tile, marble, and terrazzo projects, he's helped build opportunities for working families. A 39-year member of BAC Local 7 TMT and a business agent for the past 19 years, Adolfo understands that protecting union jobs doesn't stop at the jobsite. It also happens in town halls, council meetings, and at the ballot box. His decision to run for Councilman-at-Large in Roselle Park is a reminder that when union members step into leadership roles, they bring the values of hard work, integrity, and working-class advocacy with them. The voices of skilled tradespeople are essential in shaping the policies that impact our jobs, our apprenticeships, our communities, and the future of organized labor. The labor movement is strongest when its members don't just build our communities, they help lead them. Interested in a rewarding career with BAC Local 7 Tile, Marble & Terrazzo NY/NJ? Connect with us through our social media channels to learn more about our apprenticeship opportunities and become part of a union built on skill, opportunity, and solidarity. #BACLocal7TmtNyNj #UnionStrong #BuildingLeadership #UnionTrades #OrganizedLabor
