In case anyone is interested I found out a good method to finally keep a lot of political ads out of my inbox using the filtering systems and some recommended words, which I begrudgingly used Gemini for. I’m of course still against AI because it’s thanks for AI the ads are way worse…

I don’t need to use it all the time. But, I like to use it sometimes. Especially since some users have me pegged as a Zionist. I get more concerned when I deal with unhinged users like that one time, than losing a follower. I assume most of you know I’m ind and won’t tow the party line by now

Whether or not they have guardrails during testing, they probably should have some but much like a drug maker wouldn’t release a hard drug, you wouldn’t release a dangerous model of AI right?

There are very smart people who are saying that the federal government shouldn’t regulate AI. For those saying that, look at what happened with tobacco and social media when left unchecked. It doesn’t mean we should ban it outright though that would be ideal, but, we need safeguards in the wild
