"The cities of the Sunbelt are not blazing a new trail, they’re simply riding an existing track laid down decades ago in Southern California. Eventually, they’ll reach the point we in the region currently live in—central cities for the affluent, peripheries for everyone else."

Martinez: "[I] sat in federal court and watched from 20 feet away as the border patrol agent who attempted to kill me testified at a hearing. Agent Charles Exum—Charles Exum, my attempted executioner was Charles Exum—I hope the government does not consider my use of his name here to be...doxxing."

Most members of the board that manages transit in the Twin Cities—the Met Council—rarely actually use transit, a story that’s all too familiar around the nation. 8 of 17 members never rode over the last year. 2 others took just 1 trip each. www.msn.com/en-us/autos/...
“It is, frankly, demonstrative of the way that too many local and state governments treat their transit systems, which is a mechanism to move poor people around,” Freemark said. “Board members don’t see themselves as users of the system.”

Trump Insults America—Again
The president of the United States seems to have no interest in appealing to a national sense of pride or honor.

This is what's so baffling about so many suggestions for AI in the humanities classroom: they mistake the product for the point. Writing outlines and essays is important not because you need to make outlines and essays but because that's how you learn to think with/through complex ideas.
