In last 10 of half, ATL started to achieve their goal: frustrate and annoy Timbers so they lose focus. We have plenty of quality opps in attack; we just need to anticipate instead of react. Could be 3-1 now if we’d just beat the ball to the spot. #rctid

I 💕💕💕💕 this XI. Would prefer Janssen over Antony up front, but MF anchored by Chara that attacks and transitions well (Chara takes care of the defending DdC doesn’t do), and only Fory has demonstrated weaknesses in defending. Should see big SOG tonight; hopefully some are goals as well. #rctid

My summary is that the attack again tonight created numerous opportunities that were wasted. As Lassiter, Janssen, Velde and DdC are on field together, those opportunities will convert frequently. But we are going nowhere without tightening up the back 4 - especially the transition passing. #rctid

Antony’s hideous gaffe back pass to Pantemis ends this match for Timbers. Far too frequent an occurrence for this side - hideous back pass to GK. #rctid
