A small criticism of FE Fortune's Weave is that it felt like they cut 8 playable paths to 4. Now that we know the cut content will be DLC I wonder about games launching "incomplete" to monetize gamers even further. Does FEFW get a pass due to how massive it already is? It's worth discussing.

Nothing upsets me about my current financial situation more than the fact that I am missing out on being able to play Blood of Dawnwalker and Star Wars Galactic Racers

Me: Okay, I'm finally going to continue the main story in The Witcher 3! Also Me: Well, I'm here, I might as well just do this side quest first. I'm almost 10 levels over the main quest now...

Nick Robertson is an incredible hockey player and is going to have a solid career. I will never understand why the Leafs giving him a chance felt like pulling teeth.

I don't have as much time as I used to to game anymore, so it's really freaking cruel that the universe is making me have to choose between Fire Emblem and The Witcher today.

I don't understand why the Leafs are so eager to trade Knies. More than one front office has been involved with trade talks now. Makes me wonder if there is something behind the scenes we don't know with him. #LeafsForever

I've been watching a lot of The Rookie lately and between that, Superman, and Lanterns, I have a new found appreciation for Nathan Fillion. I'm going to have to jump into Firefly soon.

I used to be the biggest Assassin's Creed fan. I absolutely loved that franchise. Something about the games pre Origins really connected with me. I didn't hate Origins but it lost something with me, and everything since has just been worse. I miss that feeling the older games gave me.

It sucks that you essentially get punished for subscribing to FFXIV. I really want to get back into it, but I can't afford a monthly sub right now. But, because I paid for a month in the past, I'm locked out from downgrading to the free trial while someone who has never paid can still play for free

The Blood of Dawnwalker is going to be just like The Witcher 3 where I try it years after it's release and fall in love with it.

I just heard about the QTEs in Wolverine and I'm not hating on it or anything, I still plan on playing it eventually because it's in the same universe as Spider-Man, but what is the point of QTEs if they just autocomplete?

001

Josh Santos @jsantos590.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I was always going to wait for Wolverine to go on sale before I played it, because there are just too many other games I'm interested in coming out and my finances are tight, But people are really out here acting like a 6/10 isn't an above average score.

Metroid Ravenous looks so good, and I've been meaning to get into Metroid for a while now. I looked up Metroid Dread, and man... that game hasn't gone on sale for 4 years....

As a broke gamer, 2026 has been the year of severe FOMO for me. 007 First Light, Pokemon Pokopia, Xenoblade Chronicles on Switch 2, Mixtape, and now The Bload of Dawnwalker (and more)... All games I want to play, bust just don't have the disposable income right now.

The amount of posts I've seen on Reddit complaining about Ocarina of Time is crazy. The game looks awesome! The default discourse around everything is just negativity and people trying to be contrarian. Being a fan of anything these days is so exhausting.

My favorite part of @kindafunnyvids.bsky.social's coverage of OoT remake was @andycortez.cool completely missing the confirmation of gyro controls because he was so fixated on the pronunciation of Mido's name 😆

From the moment the gameplay started, I couldn't stop smiling. I cant wait for Ocarina of Time

000

Josh Santos @jsantos590.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

My nostalgia for Ocarina of Time runs so deep that when he went into the shop of the remake I was fully expecting a loading screen and audibly gasped when there wasn't one. Obviously that is expected, but that was ingrained in my soul.

Man, I totally fell off of Marvel Rivals. Not sure why, but this last season I never really got the itch to play and my time on Battlefield 6 increased instead. I didn't realize it consciously, but I don't think I liked the way team-ups work now.

When they inevitably announce an Ocarina of Time themed Switch 2 today, I just have to remember that I got my Switch 2 when I did to avoid a price hike I couldn't afford and not to beat myself up for not waiting. That being said, if they do announce one can someone do a wellness check on me later?

Today marked rhe 2nd day in a row where I wanted to game, but my decision paralysis had me simply sitting on the couch watching twitch instead...

000

Josh Santos @jsantos590.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

It's hard for me to enjoy FF8 because I'm either ridiculously overpowered and killing everything in one shot, or I'm suffering from anxiety from not taking full advantage of the Junction system and ADHD/decision paralysis/wanting to experience as much as the game as possible is stressing me out

000

Josh Santos @jsantos590.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

This is so funny because they said they wouldn't complain if it was pure cosmetics and then go on to point out that the problem they have is that they are locked out of certain stores in the game... Stores that have pure cosmetics... LOL

I have nothing wrong with Fable taking 20-30 hours to beat. As an Adult, I would love more triple A RPGs being shorter and not requiring to be part time jobs to finish.

I haven't watched AEW All In yet, but I have seen clips all over social media and man... Kenny Omega is my favorite wrestler of all time. I genuinely feel sorry for people who refuse to give AEW a chance just because they like WWE and feel like they can only like one and not the other.
