So Trump has said yet again that Greenland (an autonomous Danish territory) and the Panama canal (Panama - independent country) should belong to the US. As a former resident of Denmark, I can safely say that he is once again a laughing stock and comedians are having a field day. Dementia anybody?

I heard on NPR that Louisiana is restricting public health advertising for Covid, Influenza and Mpox vaccines. Not in writing mind you, just verbally. Newly appointed Louisiana SurgGen and deputy (an opthalmologist) both parrot vaccine disinformation. Just a taste of the future under RFKjr.

I applaud mayor Conway's comments when harassed by the gutter press as to the identities of the victims " it's absolutely none of y'all's business...please have some human decency and respect..." Some of the press are only interested in what sells, no matter the cost to the individual in the story.

So, this caught my eye, as I hear yet again my colleagues complain about a large provider refusing to cover drugs that prevent reoccurrence of a cancer. They will cover them though, once the cancer reoccurs.....

So, RFK Jr's plans for the FDA include taking a sledgehammer to the FDA, firing employees (we know how well that went at the IRS). Yes, remove dyes from food, but no to raw milk (TB or listeria anyone?).

As someone who has worked in Healthcare for 40 years, including 27 years in free healthcare (or as the Conservatives say "socialized medicine"), having a vaccine denier like RFK scares the shit out of me. Let's be real vaccines prevent measles, mumps, rubella, T, b and a host of other diseases.
