Alberta actually has some really cool landscapes! The Badlands and the Rockies (Banff, Lake Louise) are each just a 1.5 hour drive from Calgary. We also have Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, and Waterton Lakes national park 2 hours south. Dakota Badlands are on my bucket list!

Yes! I hate salons and can’t justify the cost, I cut my own hair all the time. Lots of great video tutorials for all kinds of bangs. Just err on the side of long and you’ll be fine:)

The Royal Tyrrell Museum in the Alberta Badlands. We got to camp there overnight under the dinosaur skeletons in fourth grade, was awesome:)

That’s a terrible thought. In Canada we have vast stretches of area with zero post secondary schools. Doing away with distance ed would cause exodus of rural youth to the urban centres and dramatically limit opportunities for kids in isolated communities.
