One seriously great thing about the iPhone Duo is app developers are allowing their apps to run in landscape again. I’ve seriously missed landscape mode in iOS apps. As a bonus, they’re also spending a little time making the landscape version look nice. #iPhoneDuo #iOS #development

If anyone is curious how I mock out my drawings, here’s how I do it! I draw little rectangles on scratch paper, until I frame it the way I want in a very basic way. I like to add details as I go, so once I have a basic concept, I take it and run.

Got it for my birthday 33 years ago. Played on a Macintosh Performa 430 with an external 1x CD-ROM drive (also got for my birthday). It was slow to load, but I did not care. I was transfixed.

Got caught up on the new season of #Silo that’s out so far, I kind of wish I would’ve waited for the whole season to be out, but damn this season is really good! I’ve been collecting pins and buttons for a long time and never really have done much with them, decided to start adding them to a couple different places depending on how much I like them. Then I saw @Iconfactory’s sale on their #tapestry pins and had to get them!

Every time I come across this in my photo library I have to post it. #RaptureHatch

A dumb and simply black and white image of two houses side-by-side one of them has a hatch in the top so when the rapture happens, the godly person will float out. Where is the other house does not have a hatch so when the rapture happens, they’ll be stuck against the ceiling, I guess for all of eternity.

Kid: i know but our texts are usually formal (kind of).

Me: Dear child,
I find the supposition that our missives are usually formal in nature to be a slight bit exaggerated. I, myself, usually speak in the parlance of our times, of course. Obviously the occasional diminutive of "laugh out loud" would be acceptable. Or perhaps even the proto-version...
"Haha!" would even be appropriate in our palavers.

You know what’s hard to find? Unscented trash bags. Even the ones that claimed to be unscented have a vague citrus smell to them and generally speaking I don’t want my garbage to smell like food or the ocean or lavender or anything else for that matter I just take it out before it starts to stink.
