I think “Reality” keeps being lazy and just using Dredd story lines as a template for the real world.

Freaking love that movie. Sam Rockwell was perfect casting plus the commentary tracks on the blu ray are so good.

I REALLY liked her “Far Sector” graphic novel, I read it in my book club & went in concerned it was going to be a cynical cash grab of a GN from a popular SciFi author, but NO, what I found was solid world building with a story of politics, intrigue, class division and heroes. A great book.

Oh this should be good ! There definitely are elements of Dredd’95 that are great, and the cameo of Ian Dury, I mean the real world guy could fit into Mega City one and not skipped a beat.

Every week the head of the SJS should be a different person :) Love that panel though, the layout and use of color, great stuff.

Kirk’s birthday scene where McCoy, as only a close friend could do, tells Kirk he’s wasting his life and to do something about it before he becomes an antique like Kirk’s collection. Such a great scene and it starts to hit harder rewatching when you’re older :)

What I find interesting about this episode is that Bashir’s question to sisko “If something disastrous happens to the Federation, if we are desperate enough, frighten enough. Would we stay true to our ideals ?”. I think is answered in a voyager episode “Equinox” (S5 E26) by the crew of the Equinox.

I believe the animated documentary “a grand day out” disproved this theory. Although its conclusions remain controversial to this day.

Personally… I would have put Origins and The Small House as 1 and 2 on the list, I think they perfectly bookend where the judges came from and where they are now.
