Work on a massively stressful project. Get a congrats email telling you that you can expense up to $30 on a "treat" for yourself. Buy $27, 1.75v bottle of potential regret. Doing things the classic way, even on the way out.

A stupidly large, cheap ass bottle of questionable tequila on a dining room table with various other things around it.

The tequila isn't terrible. It's not great, but it's not terrible. It's the kind of tequila you mix into margaritas or other drinks rather than sipping on it's own. (I much prefer sipping tequilas, but those were slightly more than $30)

Well, now, this is an interesting scam I've not seen before. Yes, that's a very real "business" check that is filled out, complete with proper backing. It is missing the routing and account number (which, I'll note, is not really difficult to find for a lot of businesses like this).

A home purchase solicitation letter featuring a check (missing routing and account info) written out for $1,612,875.

(Sadly, my home is worth far more than that, so yeah, not going to bite, but still, had me wonder if I could find a lawyer to ask about teaching these clowns a $1.6MM lesson on sending unsolicited fund transfers.)
