The Emperor is us stepping up and doing what we can to inspire others to join in and work toward our goal which is Justice; true equality and freedom to be ourselves without oppression.

We will overcome this! By remaining visible and active. I’ve selected these cards from Vamp: The Theda Bara Tarot by Jook Tarot as an exercise in cartomancy for the community. The Page of Hope (Cups) is us remaining hopeful and learning how to keep it alive even during this tough time.

Today is National Coming Out Day! Sadly, I have to recognize that coming out as anything other than cisgender and heterosexual isn’t easy nor safe for everyone. Despite unprecedented progress on the issue in previous years, there is a loud and horrible movement to suppress and erase queer people.

Just finished this boxed set of Indonesian horror movies starring Suzzanna. They were a fascinating watch! I’ll definitely check out the tribute movies that are currently on Netflix, but I would really love to find more of the original Suzzanna films. #Suzzanna #IndonesianHorrorMovies

I know we all already know meta is trash. This AM UU Fellowship of Fayetteville (where I worked as accompanist today)’s FB stream of the service got shut down bc of the message topic. The topic was “weaving a balanced web: Matriarchy, Partnership, and Peace.” Y u scared, meta?

Under the big top and behind a color scheme full of creamy pinks and reds lurk dark and twisted figures in familiar roles that foretell dark things to come while dazzling you with a clown's grin. #Tarot #JPVTarot #TarotReadingsByJeanPierre #TarotChicago #HorrorCircusTarot #IraEfimova #UnaInSpace

Horror Circus Tarot, illustrated by Ira Efimova for Una In Space Publishing. Circuses, with so much varied talent and over the top spectacle, are rich with figures to represent the Arcana of Tarot. When that circus happens to be a Horror Circus, it adds even more to the symbols.

King Kong was the beginning of a thrilling new kind of spectacle in movies that continues to captivate audiences all these decades later. Despite remakes and reimaginings that have earned their own share of attention, it’s the original film from 1933 that people still talk about most!

Yesterday was World Gorilla Day! As far as I can remember, the only gorilla in any of my decks is the greatest movie monster of them all: King Kong! The original giant monster of cinema appears on the Ace of Cups in the Golden Age of Hollywood Tarot, created by Chris Leech.
