I'm a big fan of "The Game Master's Book of..." books and I generally buy them in pdf on @drivethrurpg.com. I own several of the physical books. The lack of bookmarks and clickable TOC in the PDF versions is a real drag. I spend 45 minutes on each book and some amount of extra money to add a TOC.

Harper in RF feels weird.

Thanks Jenny! This is a 50th birthday gift. Can’t wait to surprise the recipient with it! Such a great painting as always!!

The box belies the performance. All over the place. Lucky two have gotten out of those two bases loaded situations.

The Dolmenwood Campaign Book is an absolute masterpiece.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Is this overkill for a solo RPG campaign map? Absolutely. But it makes me happy.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Prototyping some nicely-ish formatted HEX grid description pages. Pretty happy with how this turned out using Google Docs. And yes, I sure am using the Dolmenwood Campaign book as a reference and for inspiration.

Oh damn. Those are supposed to be great.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

It’s really well done! Trying to find some time to try it out. I haven’t cracked CY_BORG yet behind flipping through the book.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Only when it’s a Rhinocorn.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Woof that was a lot of arts and crafts time. Gorgeous map, though!

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

I'm bumping it up on my TBR!

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

So I've got until January to read Neuromancer. Got it.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

First time reading it. Wild setting! I like the cyber punk overlay on top of Mork Borg.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Fireside reading. This is @soloistventure.bsky.social’s fault 🤣

I assume I’ll be able to buy something like this outside the stadium within the next 24 hours.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

These are, indeed, quite good.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

I hear ya. It’s gross out 🥵

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

Neuromancer has been on my bookshelf of shame forever. Finally got a cheap copy on eBay recently and I’m excited to plow through it! Will your make videos of play throughs for your game?

Highlander II (1991) was pretty bad but I think Hardware (1990) takes the cake.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Yeah that was not great.

JP Toto @jptoto.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I added a few notebooks to my last Jetpens order to run the total up to the free shipping threshold. I didn’t realize the notebooks I chose are American Girl doll-sized 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not as impressed with the Lamy Safari as I thought I’d be. It’s great to hold but the action isn’t as smooth as my $7 Platinum Preppy.

Dammit Colin I have enough to worry about.

I missed this by minutes.

Explore Indy and OSR games.

Nailed it. Half the time they had to author anonymously. And look how far we’ve come in 200 years 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m having a nice time with Cartograph #solottrpg but flipping through the tables, or in my case, scrolling through the tables on my iPad was turning into a chore. And because I’m me, this is my solution: The tri-fold Cartograph GM screen. Just enough room to fit them all with 3 overlapping flips.

I figured. Super gross.

The whole thing stinks top to bottom.
