Our first dual architecture install of NCZ-OS 26.10 “Cygnus” for AMD64, T2 x86 Macs, and CIX Sky1 Arm64. It’s beautiful. With Wayland GLES shader screensavers. Kernel 7.3-RC6. @sjvn.bsky.social @brideoflinux.bsky.social

Open source runs on people showing up. I show up with disclosed AI assistance, upstream credit and tested fixes. I'd rather argue about a bug than about a toolchain. Door's open if the maintainers want the patches.

A bit over the top, but Paramount should have given this to us instead of a fan. Nice job though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lhe2...

Brothers Wright Barrel Proof, 112.9 proof: smooth, sweet, well-aged, and very nice up front—then absolutely pissed off on the finish. Basically Dolly Parton in 9 to 5. Strong corn-liquor kick. Aged 450 ft underground. I'm not gonna science it. I'm gonna drink it.

I bought a Macbook Pro 64GB i9 with 512GB for $470 on eBay just now. But that is a rare configuration. My own i7 16GB from 2019 is maybe worth $300. But i need the systems for testing my Linux distro.

Looking for 2019-2022 era T2 Macs to buy as test systems for NCZ. People on Facebook think their 2017 16GB MacBook Pro is worth $350. Um, no. MAYBE $250 if it is in good condition.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is 40 years old. The 4K remaster looks like it was shot yesterday. Ferris was the Gen X fantasy: rich, cool, unsupervised, and able to beat the system. The movie looks young. We’re what got old.
