Yeah, elections here in Brazil... not good. No story matter. Very Trumpian. Very Epstein Files. Nothing sticks, nothing matters. Disheartening.

Also might explain why "Ultimate Endgame" felt so... uneventful in a way. 5 issues, no real estate to actually delve it things. It actually neatly mirrors how much Marvel seemed to want Krakoa to just end it already, every book going into overdrive, like a host annoyingly pushing guests out the door

Very interesting. It explains a little why and how the second half of "Ultimate Spider-Man" felt so compressed. Tbh, I'm fine with it ending. It creates this very cool limited series of trades that someone can own, beginnig and ending. I do wish it was on the terms of the creatives, though

Playing the recently released "Muchi Muchi Pork!" port on Steam (oh glorious day!! Bring me even more, please!) and I wonder: How many of CAVE employees could actually 1cc their games?

Mark Millar is a big bitch But with that said, he could build a shared universe out of years and years of little creator-owned projects (which he paid very good money to his collaborators, I heard) to the point that he even did a big event crossover to join them all... it is admittedly pretty cool.

Yep, my friend even already sent a Mix 1 of the two songs we recorded. This feels right

Yesterday I began recording my first album since 2012. It's only been EPs since. So that is exciting. Wish me luck!

This rocks! I admit I'm not that into Weezer, but "Pinkerton" is one of my favorite albums of all time regardless. It is so good and raw, it's so special. This was an amazing tribute, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Thank you for sharing

One of my favorite photographs ever. When I think "style", I always think Meiko Kaji and Faye Wong

It's still puzzling to me how Marvel teased this (full "Rebirth" style btw), then changed its mind, made MacKay scramble to incorporate it into his run (which led to the Missing Moment, I'd bet) just to change its mind AGAIN and drop some Miracleman now. Very ironic they want this one-shot forgotten

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

VERY interesting that the Jed MacKay "Avengers" Omnibus will NOT include the first "Timeless" one-shot, just the second. Very interesting, given that the first one-shot not only had more hype, it was the beginning of his work with Kang, but also had what I'd say is an INFAMOUS dropped teaser

Some old drawings of a young Wonder Woman I did while working on my Black and Gold short story.

No one does it like Rian. You just know each and every drawing will exude this pop color energy that is unmatched. Cute, sexy, lively, everything. One of the best of the best

Saving this post so I can come back some times and laugh The entitlement and delusion here are of the damn charts, it's amazing what a "human being" will twist to make themselves feel like a good person

There are some schools of how to open a big superhero event. "DNX #1" is clearly a setup issue, trying to get readers to speed, but even then, it's not an interesting setup or even makes clear who the characters are. "DNX" could have used a BIG PLOT BEAT to begin, even if it's a dangerous approach

000

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

As with everything MacKay, his grasp of character is great. The setup is rich ground for drama, finally bringing the tension between Cyclops and Beast that started in the Utopia era to a head But at the same time, the plotting was so bland and the cliffhanger so uneventful...

I LOVE Jed MacKay's work. He always has a tight grasp on character and explores amazing angles But I feel like his current weakness is group books. Might be the editorial direction, whole back-to-the-90s thing, but I feel very underwhelmed by his "X-Men" and "Avengers" "DNX" began so lukewarm...

I'm feeling bittersweet about the wonderful Wonder Woman run by Tom King and Daniel Sampere ending. On one side, I hoped for many more issues of goodness, but on the other, 3 years is a good while when you have one issue a month. It will be fascinating to reread it as a whole and dissect it

Ok, so with #Tapas shutting down, which was the only place where my comics (not really "Web Comics" in format, very traditional comics) were stored... What are other alternatives so I can keep my comics online? Simply Web Toons? What's a good place for traditional comics? Maybe a custom site?

I'm just an amateur, but to me, kids' stories are some of the harder, really demanding attention and some delicacy. It's though work, for sure

I finished an EP I started recording back in 2020. Kept procrastinating on recording the final song all this time, but it is done! My first solo EP, I feel lighter, woof!

Though, but hey, so much creativity? On one side, good problems to have!!

000

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

My current theory is that they are going for a big relaunch December, mix up some creative teams, "All-New" style. So they just put all crossovers together to get it over with. They are even late with their current December solicitations. That said, if that's the case, there are more elegant ways

010

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Right?? Let's cut the fat, no time to waste when time is money, baby!! From what I gather, Marvel is publishing 4 concurrent crossovers, and that might be a record, or at least a match for the worst these things get? And I'm very much enjoying "Queen in Black", but c'mon Marvel

Is this "X-Aminations"? If so, yeah, that's a perfect single issue

The GBA is so full of pre-rendered graphics, in retrospect, that I feel it created an ugly picture in my head. But by golly, when it looks good, it looks SO GOOD. Pixel art in Metroid Fusion is so gorgeous, I totally agree! I've been really into Sonic lately and the GBA games also look so great!

This is just venting, and it makes me feel a little mean-spirited, but: I think it's a real shame "Armageddon" and "Queen in Black" are being published alongside, because one is clearly better than the other but being totally eclipsed by the other hm

FFXIII means a lot to me, and even the way everyone dogpilled on it (the old "corridor" thing) was also kind of a formative experience for me, helping me understand my tastes in comparison to the mainstream I truly adore XIII's combat system, it is so fun, and can get so hectic on the late game.

It's frustrating because even Marvel's official account just plastered the feed with it HOURS after the release of the issue, which makes me wonder if it's damage control or if it was always going to be like this. The Big 2 does have a track record of marketing for publicity, no surprises there

010

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

The internet will do what the internet will do, of course, and every popular creator will have its downfall it this ravenous bunch will have its way, but with that said: I do feel for Zdarsky if this is something that fell on his lap, because my issue is the same old: Big 2 scavenging Moore's trash

But the ending of the comic is SO MUCH BETTER. It's much less "HECK YEAH", which I feel is such a cheap decision, and much more introspective

110

JP, alone with all his comics (in a new place) @jpcomics.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Hm what I particularly dislike (about the movie in general, in fact), is that I feel like every change they made to the source material was for the worse. It turned this great character study, this almost tragic story of depression, into a simple power fantasy with no nuance. I still enjoy the movie
