12 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Feraligatr / Nidoqueen aka Drag Queen list: unknown tcgone retro poster Originally an '07 archetype. It's susceptible to Pow antics (though you can attempt to mitigate by delaying taking KOs), but Drag Off is a good attack. Surely we can fit a 1-0-1 Sceptile ex δ in here...?

11 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Limitation Dragtrode (list: ??) Does Dragtrode things—Drag Off, Dark Ring, attacking Dragonite+Briney—plus another trick of early-game Limitation, swooping into something else later. Is this better than the regular lists? Idk. But it is very funny.

000

Jonathan "JP" Paranada @jparanada.comeonux.com · 05/12/2024

The original printing of Cyrus Prism Star is mistranslated; it's only playable when you have a W or M Pokémon in the Active Spot (the card was always played with errata). There actually was a later print run w/correct text! I've got both copies & will use the corrected one for retro. #PokemonTCG

10 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Dragonite ex δ list: Jason K. Not confident about this list. Could run Sceptile EM so Stantler confusion is a non-issue, or Xatu δ to help break through a Jirachi DX wall (alongside Cursed Stone), plus take KOs quicker. The archetype seems like it has potential!

021

Jonathan "JP" Paranada @jparanada.comeonux.com · 29/11/2024

9 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Dark Steelix list: Jason K. An '05 archetype that gets Cessation Crystal in RS-PK. I suppose it's beginner-friendly but imo not interesting enough or good enough to actually be a good intro to the format. #pokemontcg

8 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Cradily list: Que Que is an innovative modern-day RSPK brewer from Japan. This is a control deck that can Pow things up and trap them with Cradily SS. Raticate can recur resources and disruption pieces. Check out Que's article on it: note.com/q_q_ball/n/n...

7 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Chiro Special list: Chiro A Legend Toolbox variant focusing on Lati@s ex + Mewtwo δ DS. The joke in the community is that only Chiro knows how to play it competently. Easy to swap in different techs as needed. Resilient to Screechy Voice since everything's a Basic. #pokemontcg

6 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | CamLer list: Jason Jason invented this in 2022 (after RayLer, the other bullying Stantler deck). Unlike RayLer, it can spread while its attacker has Cess, although Rayquaza ex δ is the more powerful Pokemon. (If you cut Unown you can build this all non-holo...) #pokemontcg

Jonathan "JP" Paranada @jparanada.comeonux.com · 06/11/2024

5 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | BombTar list: Frosty The Big Bad of the format. Dark Ttar is great with Pow+Trode shenanigans because it's got a lot of HP and good attacks. Pic is an old one, I think I switched this over irl to use Holon FF, as well as 2nd Jirachi HL.

000

Jonathan "JP" Paranada @jparanada.comeonux.com · 27/10/2024

4 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | BombCatty List: Jason K Unsure how good this is vs Scrambled Eggs (not to mention PowTar). Delcatty does not have a lot of HP! Jason has added some spice—1-1 Persian and Tauros. Surprise Time Machine lets you reuse the same Delcatty's Power, but Jason only runs 1.

3 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Banette list: Rhogar Some lists run Mew star as an anti-control tech (recur the E Switch if they try to loop Pow). That's very funny, but this list is the more traditional one with Jolteon star (effectively +20 damage)

1 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Absolutions a top deck in 2007, but not so much in RS-PK as it does not deal with Cessation+Pow+Admin antics very well
