It's just a kirby puzzle game, so it's pretty frustrating how this is pretty much the only kirby game to never get localized despite being a simple spinoff

Like I get it, this game was released in japan through the nintendo power flash service in 1998 and got an actual physical release in 1999 which is pretty insane for a first party snes game. But still, it's not like it's a whole rpg that would take a lot of effort to localize

Story mode was fun, although maybe a little too short. It's nice to see more of the dream land 3 artstyle throughout this game. It's really unfortunate how this game was never released outside of japan though

The ones where you play a minigame are fun, as well as the ones that are designed around a certain animal buddy. Overall, I really like dream land 3 despite a couple flaws and feeling like it's a little behind its time thanks to super star

While there isn't anything close to the last two awful rainbow drops from dl2, there's still some really annoying heart stars that require you to replay levels just because you didn't know the solution beforehand. Although it's nice that they have some variety to them

It's kind of unfortunate that this game came out after super star since by itself it's pretty good, but it's definitely a downgrade when comparing the two. Experimenting with all the animal buddy ability combinations is still fun, especially with the three new ones in this game

As for the gameplay itself, it's kinda just a better version of dream land 2. The puffed up flying in this game feels a bit stiff and not very smooth, but running and jumping feels incredibly satisfying to me for some reason

Dream Land 3 complete! The vibes in this game are so good. Genuinely one of my favorite asthetics and artstyle of the series. I would kill to have a modern game with this hand-drawn look to it. Also one of my personal favorite kirby soundtracks too

Kirby's pinball land is straight up chinese torture the video game. It feels like it was specifically designed to be the most frustrating game ever made. It's honestly impressive how unmotivated I am to even beat it despite there only being 3 levels and a final boss

Super star is such a good game. It's admirable just how much they pushed and experimented with the kirby formula with all the different modes. That on top of giving more moves to abilities, introducing helpers, and simply just having so much personality and care put into it
