Living in coastal CA, the trash cans outside our cafe are those wildlife proof designs, which need to keep the smartest bear out while staying usable by the dumbest human. As a product designer, I think about how hard that is a lot.

California ravens are the smallest, and arrived here almost 2 million years ago, and are more closely related to the Mexican Chihuahuan raven than the ravens across the rest of North America, which themselves are more closely related to European ravens. This has been your raven fact.
