We went to Bar Dog a couple of times. A bar with a dog. His name was Kotetsu and he had a small bowl on the counter that the owner would refill with beer. I suspect his life was short but pleasantly blurry.

16 years ago today I finished teaching classes to gifted teenagers and drove to Galway, where we played a gig with @deerhoof.bsky.social. Today, I'm half-deaf and haven't drummed in years, but Deerhoof are still the best.
