For every issue of @sojo.net I get to interview someone walking out their faith. This month, Appalachian Trail Chaplain, Jeff Wadley spoke to me while hiking from Georgia to Maine. It's good to remember as Wadley put it, "how large God is compared to little old me." sojo.net/sojoshare/Nj...

It's been so beautiful to see so many reflections on Dolly's life and legacy. I think, for a lot of people, she represented permission: permission to be the kind of person you knew you were or, at least, knew you wanted to be. My friend and colleague Ryan McQuade tells that story here. What a gift.

"We discussed 'Seeing Children as Theologians,' a chapter in Ryan Stollar’s book The Kingdom of Children. Stollar wrote that 'we [adults] need to give children the freedom to be their own theologians — to discover and love who God is and what God values...'" ~ @josinaguess.bsky.social

Hi Blue Sky, I've finally migrated over here! I'm a writer, mother, poet, and editor who approaches farming more as a way to feed my soul than to feed my family, but I must say I'm thankful to have chickens laying so many eggs right now.
