I’m so bad at posting hahah. I’m going to stop apologising for it but I had some more endeavours with polymer clay. Still very much a beginner but we’re learning. Most my clay is cheap and bad to work with but I try and am enjoying it! (The seal does have a back fin but he too chonky) #polymerclay

My book got dropped after my publisher decided not to publish any storybooks anymore. 🫠 I’m now looking for either #representation for my #kidlit book or a new publisher that would like to work with me! Book proposal ready! 🍀🤍 Pls SHARE and REPOST if you know people that would be interested! 🤍

Art vs. Artist 2024 (vs. 2023 vs. 2022)🤍🧸🍀 What do you think? I think I still have a long way to go… but I’m not mad at it ☺️ #illustration #artvsartist #artvsartist2024 #art

🌱 The Wild Robot 🌱 definitely felt like they took it straight out of my head. As a #kidlitartist it’s so cool to see Dreamworks make a beautiful reliving based on the best-selling children’s books. My boyfriend got me the art book for my birthday last week and it’s been incredible to flip through💖

Feels like sometimes everything in a day just goes wrong 🥹 Ordered prints but they got here being the wrong paper & size. Don’t even know how they did that. I ordered new ones I can pick up tomorrow. (I’m on a time crunch)🍀 Burgers and Arcane S2 tonight to make up for a somewhat yucky day 🍔🥰 Hru?

Working on a spread for my book but it’s just not turning out the way I’d hoped. The colours feel nice but the rendering just doesn’t sit right. I probably should just take a break from all the art but it’s also just frustrating stopping when I know I’m close to the solution… maybe… 🥹✨ #art #kidlit

Hello! I’m Raahat, an illustrator and picture book maker from the UK. I'm deeply inspired by nature, and I love creating scenes that evoke a sense of warmth and comfort for children and adults alike 🌿🍄🍂 raahatkaduji.com #kidlitart #illustration #art

Illustration of a grey wolf wearing a cosy green outfit, holding a red book, and looking over a windy, autumnal landscape as she stands next to a tree without leaves. Leaves are blowing across the scene. In the foreground there is a dark wooden fence. In the background, there are hills, a white cottage with chimney smoke, trees, birds flying, and white fluffy clouds.

Illustration of a brown mouse, surrounded by pink and white flowers, holding a pink book titled "By the River". He is sat on a green leaf floating along the river.

Illustration of a badger wearing a blue apron, watering an oak sapling with a green watering can. There are roots underneath.

Illustration of a raccoon sheltering from the rain in a forest. There is a warm camping stove with a steaming kettle on top, and mushrooms scattered around.

I’ve been trying to make an illustration off of an idea in my head but am on redraw number 3. I just can’t get it right… How do you deal with redrawing and not feeling satisfied with your sketches?? 💖🎨 #art #sketch
