This Safari bug also affects @Mastodon (look above the keyboard). Based on my test, there isn‘t a reasonable workaround for web developers at this point in time.

On the positive, #iOS26 now asks for the SIM you want to use for a call when using a phone number link in a website or app! That’s a improvement I have been asking for since they introduced support for multiple SIMs many years ago.

Safari on #iOS26 comes with this fun bug that shifts all fixed elements up by 20px and breaks scrolling hierarchy, once the address bar has been expanded once. Force-quitting and reopening Safari fixes it, until you touch the address bar again. Be prepared […] [Original post on social.tupo.space]
