This isn't a long one, just one I've come to a conclusion on after working for the last two years to find some sort of stability with everything kind of coming to a head recently. I couldn't seem to get a handle on things and just living on crumbs. Really dumb to come to this conclusion this late in the game but better late than never.

If there is one thing I've learned, it's that we give ourselves the comfort we need but like anything, too much of that will drown you. I've lived in the same place for about three years now, I moved back in with my Grandmother at my childhood home to pay off some bills and to help her around the house with repairs.

There is nothing quite like the first taste of mushrooms to start off a new year. These guys are known for their Truffle like rarity and rich earthy flavor. I love them, anyone with half a taste-bud typically will too. But as the years go on, the flavor leaves a little something to be desired. Maybe it's the region is wearing on me again, it's very isolating to be doing the wrong job in the wrong town with the wrong people around.
