One thing I love about my new city: the railroad line is far more active (both freight and Amtrak), so I hear trains coming through much more often. There IS a freight short line in my former town, but they're barely holding on with declining customers, so the traffic has dropped over the years.

UPDATE: The doctors believe it was a minor issue. They did some tests and didn't turn up anything they were concerned about so they're sending her home with some meds to soothe her pain. Thanks for your well-wishes!
