‘And that means something. That we’re here.’ Watching a group of characters desperately searching for meaning/escape while knowing there will be no more songs because their composer has died… I thought this was brilliant. Very entertaining. Deeply moving. #HereWeAre @nationaltheatre.org.uk

Here We Are at the National Theatre. Picture taken from audience of the set. A white floor and large panelled wall, mirror panels on the side wall and a ladder. Two actors on stage. One hoovering the set.

The person next to me was so excited to get a kazoo and then it just… didn’t work?? Like she was blowing into it and just no sound coming out. She was so upset.

Looks like good(ish) news potentially, but mad this has maybe only happened because of rumours causing major panic

Apparently turning 28 means spending 20 mins on the phone to my mum enthusiastically telling her about the oven cleaning kit I’ve just bought. She was genuinely thrilled tbf.

Someone’s posted about it in the Facebook producers group and there seems to be some wording on the website which strongly suggests it. Apparently full announcement in 2 weeks.

Managed 140 shows this year! 9.28% of these were pantos, for those interested. For budget reasons, mostly saw stuff that I could get comps or cheap(ish) tickets for. Two top faves were easily Till the Stars Come Down at the NT and Every Brilliant Thing at Roundabout 1/4
