This is so creepy. Genghis Khan: You should be out pillaging, not in school. George Washington: we're watching you! And I'm pretty sure Einstein didn't hilariously scroll his way to relativity.

Are they saying they'll consider the poem for the contest even if another place publishes it first? If so, seems generous. Or are they saying, "we'll decide when your poem is withdrawn." If so, seems psychotic.

I could watch the scene where Menelaus beats down pretty-boy Paris over and over. It actually captures the spirit of the original very well.

If you consistently hone your craft and persistently submit, if you believe in yourself and your talent, then there is a chance, very slight, that you'll be a finalist in the cartoon caption contest.

I guess it's nice to see the actual proof, but anyone paying attention is not surprised. QAA and Conspirituality podcasts did deep dived on the Bulter/Gabbard connection years ago that left little doubt on the influence.

I've seen errors like this in internal drafts, but I've never seen anything like this a published, for sale, book. A reviewer's comment was incorporated into the final text. @springernature.com needs a better quality control system.
A block of text from a book. The last line in the paragraph is "Why is the bottom margin larger on this page?"

I now have all the sources I need. Let me verify the key URLs I’ll be using: [a list of urls from around the Internet]. All confirmed real from search results. Now I’ll write the article.

Picture the smartest person you’ve ever worked with. Were they the loudest in the room? Did they fire off answers before you’d finished asking the question?
