This week, we've lost a trio of icons. Dolly Parton, the singer humanitarian. Tim Curry, an actor whose iconic performance gave people permission to express their true selves. Peter Cullen, who as the voice of Optimus Prime in TRANSFORMERS was a father figure for many youngsters. Now beyond pain.

The start of my career in comics. A 1992 interview in PREVIEWS with Milestone Media, Inc. Co-founder Dwayne McDuffie, a mission statement, and a phone number. 34 years later and I'm right here, continuing to make incidents in Dakota. Those you see..and those you don't. MILESTONE FOREVER.

Joseph Illidge @josephpillidge.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

You know that feeling when you see a movie with one of your favorite superheroes, and the story was good with a lot of heart and resonance, and you walk out of the theater with a spring in your step and a smile on your face, inspired to go home and write? Yep. Me, too.
