Did the 9 anime/manga/games that shaped you thing. With anime, I feel like my taste has hardly changed at all. Manga is funny since I actually completely dropped it for like a decade so those are all from that time. Games feel pretty standard.

Tried out "Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered". It's pretty fun, and going pure classic mode felt pretty good too. No real complaints on NS2 asides from loading times being a tad long. I did have a moment where Hu Zhen caught me off-guard though:

Towards endgame I was running into item lvl req limit problems, so I ended up using Poetics gear Thing is, there're so many scenes towards the end that cut to your character's face for a reaction shot,& I just get nothing I'd glam, but when I return, next expansion gear would render that pointless

~265 hours in and I finally completed the FFXIV Free Trial. It was quite the adventure. I think I might take a break for a bit, but I'm interested in diving into the full game some time in the future. White Mage all the way through.

Stellar Blade is UE4,so it probably is just compression or unfamiliarity with how to optimize for Switch 2.Koei-Tecmo is kinda demonstrating both sides right now DW: Origins is their old engine which looks rather good, & DW3:Remastered is them trying their hand at UE5. The faces...could look better

Played some Touhou 6 New Classic Very faithful to the original. I'm pretty rusty so it'll take some time for me to get to where I want to be, but it's been fun. Finished a run at least with Marisa I guess it'd be smarter to get back into it with Reimu,but I mained Marisa, so figured might as well

Happy with this Nintendo Direct, largely because of the JP side Portopia & Houshin Engi both interest me. Gust has me with Apothecary Diaries. Deduction game with an original story & author involvement sounds great. Kirby is promising. Outside of that I got my reminders to play Dread & buy Touhou.

I've never played a RPG with Tressa's hiring mechanics so that was pretty fun. Loved her personality too. I really should try the other games in the series since everyone says that they all have improved on the first.

I feel like even that's overselling it since it's more like 1 costume with 4 color variations. In a vacuum I don't care, but I do wonder if it's hinting towards them approaching DOA7 the same way. I guess time will tell on that. It feels more like they're testing what their audiences will buy into.

Framerate wasn't meant for modern computers so it runs too fast, refresh rate causes issues, outdated dependencies etc. There are fixes, but it's a real pain to go through. This just makes things far more accessible.

Touhou 6 is especially hard to run accurately. It's kinda why the new version complete with a classic mode is so nice to have. Kinda absurd it's been that way for so long given that its the most influential one which re-introduced most fan favorites too.

There's always the repeated pattern that we've been trained to expect by some companies like Microsoft. If there's any modicum of good news, you kinda just expect that to be dashed shortly afterwards.Not sure the attempts to cushion the blow with some positive stuff just before does anything anymore

It's not even that they're wrong, but they would never give the same leeway to the console manufacturers amongst other companies as we've seen. People already have their narratives about who the good and bad guys are. They just look for evidence to support whilst ignoring what isn't convenient.

You can bring up the point that it'd be cheaper to piece things together, but that has always been true for pre-built PCs. I'm not the market for it myself, but it's definitely a horrible time to release hardware. I'm hoping for things to get better in 2028, but I don't see it being like how it was.

Saw the "Bleach" premiere and I'm pretty happy with how its turning out. Still a ton of questions about what new content could be added given how little left there is to adapt, but the possibilities are pretty exciting. Very pleased with Orihime's portrayal in particular.

Picked up "Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party!!!!" a few days ago, and I've been slowly getting the hang of things. It's a good time and I've been getting better. Haven't picked up any DLC yet because I wanted to make sure that I took to it first. Got 2 Perfects on the easiest songs. Working my way up.

Because of how little I use Steam, my 9 picks are largely simultaneously a time capsule too. Not the greatest amount of variety, but I like them.

If it was stylized before, that was only a result of the technical limitations they were dealing with. I don't know how you can argue that they haven't been chasing realism the entire time unless you're just new to the IP.

I'm pretty satisfied with what I saw from the Nintendo Direct. I needed to watch the JP one to actually see "Atelier Karia", but it's what it is. Biggest announcement to me might have been mainline Touhou Series on Switch/Switch2? It'd be nice if they did well and the entire series could come over.

Nice to see Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered get dated Switch 1 being dropped makes sense. It was always a stretch, but I get why they'd try given the install base Obviously a Key Card,but it's also not like I'm getting a Playstation anytime soon given prices. I'll see what I do Not much else for me
