It happens by necessity; populations don’t tend to take to make big changes without dire need chasing them like a hungry wolf. Canadians have always taken pride in their UnAmercanism, especially when travelling abroad. Being NOT American seems to give us a goldenpass in the world that we both appreciate and understand.
