What a lovely surprise, Minecraft for Switch 2 appears to be free for owners of the Switch release. My purchase of the defunct Nintendo Switch Edition way back when has been an insane value.

May this Apple App Store money squeezing scheme backfire SO BADLY…

Now, Schiller is 66 and clearly wanted to have some semblance of retirement. He can focus on philanthropy and spend more time with family.
But there's a bit more to the story, I'm told.
Ternus and services chief Eddy Cue want to make even more money from the App Store and figure out ways to raise margins and squeeze additional recurring revenue from the platform. Schiller, on the other hand, seems to believe that such moves will only further irk developers and governments.
While there was no internal blowup or anything like that, it's something he wanted no part of.

My dislike for the Sprite Extraction system grows. WHY did they add the one shot fishing trophy back in this update?! That’s the third sprite at level 4 I lose. Ridiculous.

Oh joy… don’t like the idea of AI photography coming to iOS at ALL. They’re only reversing course for shareholders to get all giddy. We shall see if it really happens tomorrow at WWDC 26 or even in September’s iPhone launch.

Apple's coming Al announcements include major reversals, with executives as recently as last year shunning the idea of a chatbot and panning the idea of Al use in photography. Now both are coming.

Game Centre on iOS 6 is so cool, actually. Fun fact, TWEWY Solo Remix was my first version of The World Ends With You.

Huge fan of having this sign in the new Save the World hub telling me how many survivors I’ve saved. The achievement requires 10,000, so more than halfway to go… though this is on Switch 2, without achievements.
