Minority Report would like to have a word…
That's a still image from the science fiction film Minority Report.

The image shows a male, looking directly at the camera, holding a plastic bag containing what appears to be a pair of human eyes and some bloody tissue. His expression is one of shock, disgust, or perhaps contemplation. The background is blurry, suggesting an interior space that is dimly lit. The overall tone is dark and unsettling.

Malware or monitoring? You decide! Is this the status quo in the #LLM monitoring/cybercrime space?
This screenshot advertises an LLM monitoring tool emphasizing quick and easy integration with various LLM providers and frameworks. It highlights broad compatibility through provider logos and demonstrates a simple Javascript integration example. The code snippet suggests potential features like API key management or request routing via a proxy. Tabs for different programming languages (Javascript, Python) and Langchain indicate multi-platform support. Clear calls to action encourage immediate integration. The tool aims to simplify the process of connecting to and potentially monitoring diverse LLM services.

The monitoring works by changing the base URL to the LLM provider (OpenAPI) with a URL controlled by the monitoring company which will route each request through their proxy, enabling them to siphon off API keys and each request and response to the LLM.

Yes #Eurowings, of course I'd like to be able to cancel my flight for twice as much as the actual ticket costs!
This screenshot from the Eurowings website presents flight booking options, broken down into two main sections: fare types and flexibility options.

At the top, you see three fare categories displayed in separate boxes:

BASIC: Priced at €79.99 with "limited availability."
SMART: Priced at €126.00 with "limited availability."
BIZclass: Priced at €189.99 with "only 5 seats left."

Each fare type has a "Details" link, likely providing more information about what's included in that fare.

Below this, the section "How flexible would you like to be?" offers three flexibility options:

Standard: This option adds +€0 to the base fare and allows changes to bookings up to 40 minutes before departure. However, changes are not free of charge, and cancellation is not possible. A "Continue with Standard" button is available.

Flex Light: This option adds +€10 to the base fare and offers the same booking change window as Standard. It includes one free change, but cancellation is not possible. A "Continue with Flex Light" button is present.

Flex Premium: This option adds +€253.99 to the base fare. It allows changes up to 40 minutes before departure and offers free changes as often as you like. Free cancellation is also included. A "Continue with Flex Premium" button is available.

In the middle of the flexibility options, there's a teal banner that says "Free as a myEurowings member" with an arrow pointing to the right, suggesting potential benefits for members.

Output of the command "docker push --help":

Usage: docker push [OPTIONS] NAME[:TAG]

I didn't say it was complex. I said it was capital- and time-intensive. Who will set up the infrastructure and operate it? Who will take care of the day-to-day operations (onboarding new projects wanting to upload artifacts with at least a minimal plausibility check, answering support questions)?
Screenshot of an old Hacker News thread from 2007 in which a commenter asserts that they could build Dropbox from scratch:

I have a few qualms with this app:

1. For a Linux user, you can already build such a system yourself quite trivially by getting an FTP account, mounting it locally with curlftpfs, and then using SVN or CVS on the mounted filesystem. From Windows or Mac, this FTP account could be accessed through built-in software.

2. It doesn't actually replace a USB drive. Most people I know e-mail files to themselves or host them somewhere online to be able to perform presentations, but they still carry a USB drive in case there are connectivity problems. This does not solve the connectivity issue.

3. It does not seem very "viral" or income-generating. I know this is premature at this point, but without charging users for the service, is it reasonable to expect to make money off of this?
