Legal eagle, lifetime Dem, news junkie, well-traveled, hates injustice, weakness for homemade cookies and folks who make me laugh. People of all races, genders and faiths are welcome, but I don’t answer DM’s and don’t follow MAGAs.

I’m not sure people who cite to Roe v Wade understand it. It didn’t call for largely unregulated access to abortion on demand. It required states to weigh a mother’s rights against those of the fetus in the 3rd trimester in making laws. Only in the 1st and 2nd trimester did women have more rights.

For red meat, we eat only free range, wild fed bison raised on a South Dakota ranch (Wild Idea) and humanely slaughtered. The ranch is dedicated to bringing back disappearing varieties of prairie grasses and wildflowers, so we think this is a great alternative to commercial beef.

I’m new here, as I’m getting fed up with “Brand X” and all the nasty, pro-Putin, pro-TFG propaganda and disinformation on that platform. Looking for thoughtful, intelligent, honest and progressive discussions of world events.
