What issue do you have with not having kids on social media? In my experience predators generally seem to be the people most upset about kids of negligent becoming protected by gov't.

Because People don't trust the conservatives to deliver on cost of living issues. When you can't even acknowledge the real cause, you have no issue of fixing the problem. It isn't taxes, it's unstable markets (which is being caused by global conservatives war campaigns)

You realise Stalin was one of Canada's allies against Hitler right? Do you know what Stalin did? We didn't say anything about it at the time... because we needed Russia to beat Hitler. Sometimes there are survival mechanisms you have to employ on the diplomatic global stage.

You have unrealistic expectations of political power. More smaller parties that refuse to compromise just leads to more division and nothing getting done. We see this in PR countries spending millions for elections every 2 years, it often leads to more authoritarian leaning people taking power.

The Liberals under Trudeau lifted the vast majority of the water advisories. Yes, it took longer than promised with the pandemic hitting mid stream, and also unforeseen difficult logistical issues that came up in some areas. If you expect perfection, you will forever be aggrieved.

All Politics does creates team mentality, FPTP requires big tent politics which is less of an echo chamber because for your party to win you need enough broad appeal. Other systems create more divided camps that don't want to lose their base appealing to the broader public

The only way to punish them is to not listen to them, and when you need every vote to hold gov't as a minority or slim majority gov't it's not wise to not listen to any MP. She will hold a certain level of sway, and Liberals have been interested in Indigenous issues and reconciliation

Mothers Against Drunk Drivers is a lobby group... I'd suggest they are good Lobbyists 🤷🏻‍♀️ But yeah generally Lobbying is most often for wealthy interests and I think should be limited.

Of course it's all politics. The UN is not a failure... just people think it is supposed to be more idealistic than realistic. It is designed to keep countries talking and give world powers a diplomatic avenue to resolve issues with reduced risk of war. You will never get the idealistic dream.
