Another gent doing some aerobic drumming. Here's the modified version of the exercise for wheelchair users or anyone with difficulty standing or jumping.

In no particular order. Baldur's Gate and Daggerfall were the truly definitive titles, I think.
My 9 Games
1. Baldur's Gate
2. Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness
3. The Sims
4. Tekken 3
5. The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
6. Super Mario Bros. 3
7. Raptor: Call of the Shadows
8. Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon
9. Captain America and the Avengers

Some art to kick off my week. Drumming aerobics! This was for Renaissance Magazine last year, but I'm just getting around to putting it on the portfolio and socials. I love doing this column. Dreading the day it ends! I'm so attached to drawing these folks.

Some detail shots of the Margin Calls cover. I had fun doing the Nukit Burgers restaurant at the edge of the page. It was entirely on the wraparound bleed, so wouldn't show up on the cover—nice, low pressure area, but they printed the full image on an interior page, so it still made it to print!
Close crop of an illustration showing a fast-food storefront from the Shadowrun universe. A lit sign sits above a tall window, and inside the window there is a large man with horns (troll) ordering at the front counter, and an employee with a giant mushroom cloud hat taking the order. Outside, two police officers in riot gear stand in the rain, while one sips coffee. Woah, I never properly shared my cover illustration for Shadowrun: Margin Calls from last year! It was a big deal for me, so I just assumed I plastered it everywhere. Here's the full-bleed, uncropped version. I got to put lots of fun details in it (for me, I love that kind of thing).

This has got to be the #1 book that changed my life. It was given to me by my aunt and uncle one Christmas, and immediately became my art bible, and stayed that way for ages. Just a fantastic range of lessons with surprising scope and depth while somehow being accessible and a breeze to get through.

Taking a trip down memory lane with some old work. After I found that old Electro piece from... 2011? I came across all this old #fanart I made for FanExpo when I was testing the waters with conventions (not for me, but one day I'd love to do a comic cover or something). Here's Deadman!
Drawing of Deadman from DC Comics in water colour and coloured inks. He is standing, with his back towards us, and looking over his shoulder with his right hand raised upward. Drawing by Jori Bolton during college. Not reflective of what you'll get if you commission me, art directors, for better or worse.

2. A reddish-brown-haired dragon rider sits on the ground with one leg up, with a red dragon wing over his head, while a little dragon sleeps in front of him, and two dragons fly in the sky in the back.

3. A black-haired sorceress with horns dressed in black dress casts green magic, flying, surrounded by floating leaves burning with green flames.Four black-and-white digital paintings with visible lineart, each featuring an artifact: a babbling book in front of a mirror; a spear made of dark meteoric metal lying on cracked ground; a throne with a carving of an owl with light shining from a glass mozaic behind; a dark club with carvings set in a snowy landscape with a giant skeleton lying next to it.A digital painting of a grey cat warlock standing ready in a misty, rocky landscape, holding a double-bladed topaz sword faintly glowing with magic.
