i don’t say this to demean anyone but i think we need new classifications for coffee to differentiate between more plain coffee and the funky flavor concoction drinks. it feels like there’s a clear separation in function between the two types of places and I’m really only interested in one type

As a forgetful person who is now connected with a family that cares deeply about holidays and related gifts… yes. I basically use my list as a generic shopping list of things I’m not especially likely to buy myself in short order, but it doubles as a list to give to folks who insist on gift giving.

Plan is to work a lot harder to get better angles, should be a lot easier since I’m flying solo. I’ll still be doing manual focus unless my other lens arrives in time. Only other lens I have for the Fuji is a 12mm manual focus, shouldn’t be too bad.

Going to shoot another event in the same spot this weekend. Bringing both my Pentax to finish a roll of film and my new Fujifilm X-T30 iii (hopefully with the XF 35mm f1.4 R if it arrives in time) so I’ll be able to get a lot more shots.

Latest batch of film back… being honest with myself the results are mostly bad due to a combination of laziness and my first time shooting on my 135mm prime. Also a ton of out of focus shots—definitely tough with fast action to find focus quickly. Anyway, here’s a thread of some of the keepers.
