Helm should have made its templating language meta-YAML. That also has its issues, but it works pretty well for Angular and HTMLX. Fixes the white space issues, too. #helm

A sci-fi fantasy like LOTR where the magical world is a simulation in the "real" world. Users and admins can VR in as wizards, Sauron, etc. The real world is invested in the outcome of the simulated one, so events in each affect events in the other. Surely someone has attempted something like that.

I can't overstate how much I hate "tooling", particularly in CI. Sure, each new tool adds some marginal value for someone. But the overall effect is suffocating. Constant CI breakage, constant change in PR requirements, and ever-increasing wait times. Have a very high bar for new tooling!

ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.” What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

But the violence he endured last month in Minnesota while being detained is seared into his battered brain. He remembers Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pulling him from a friend’s car on Jan. 8 outside a St. Paul shopping center and throwing him to the ground, handcuffing him, then punching him and striking his head with a steel baton. It’s probably the gummy, but a good conspiracy theory is that The Board of Peace is (I assume) going to de-facto govern so-called “New Gaza”, meaning the whole thing could be about ensuring he has a safe place to retire to as “king” when needed. And if not, it would make a good Jack Ryan season.
