No plans to share. It is definitely on our wish list though, and we've done a fair bit of investigation into this topic.

Regent is tough for sure. Curious after the balance patch if it will be easier to win. I've had best success with star builds that have a lot of defensive cards.

One quick note - the release has been delayed for about another hour on Switch & Switch 2. Apologies for this but wanted to make sure anyone looking for the update knew it would show up shortly!

It is a complex topic, but Bedrock has many limitations across all its platforms - it can't use letters, some numbers have a max of 99, other 255. We agree that our solution isn't perfect!

That happens from time to time - Windows can be a bit slower some weeks!

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

Not all platforms support Preview programs, if that is what you mean. If not, please clarify the question 😀

For those who follow for Minecraft Preview news - it's a very busy week so we don't plan to open up iOS slots for the monthly refresh until Monday.

I liked this objectively terrible game way more than I care to admit. See also: Basewars and Mutant League Football. Something about regular sports with crazy rosters really hit a sweet spot for me as a kid I guess!

We're in the Seattle area, so US/Pacific time zone. I think the last few have happened mid-afternoon'ish?

That video was both fun and informative! I didn't know the history of the squid milking bug...

Version numbers, that is🤦

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 09/05/2025

Very numbers can be tricky! We're talking over what they mean moving forward since things are a bit different now than in previous years. Nothing to share yet, but eventually...

There is a new Bedrock update out today! Also, this week's Minecraft Preview refresh will release tomorrow - doing both on the same day would be tough!

Unfortunately my team only operates during local business hours. I've tried to change when I personally announce the slots openings but lately people have been camping them so that hasn't been effective.

000

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

I'm playing this with my wife now - one of us controlling while the other taking notes. We started with a small notepad and now have a laptop open each time. Amazing game so far, and we keep finding new layers and puzzles and... meta-puzzles.

010

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

It seems legit - people must be sitting on the page hitting refresh as our team is opening up the slots. They went lightning fast today!

160

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

The slots seemed to fill up even faster than usual- we're looking into it to make sure they actually opened up correctly.

141

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

We opened up a scant 382 slots for the iOS version of Minecraft Preview today - looks like more people are staying active lately! You can join now at aka.ms/PreviewApple. As a reminder you can learn all about Minecraft Preview here: aka.ms/PreviewFAQ

Always hard to say as I don't do the work myself - it depends on how busy my team is and what other work is going on that day. Sometimes it can't be done until the next day, but I believe Wednesday is looking good for this week.

110

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Some fun new features in the latest Preview!

3130

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

Time varies based on my team's workload. I don't DM folks - I just post publicly here. I know it can be frustrating since spaces are limited.

110

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

Haha glad you are enjoying it! Each new tier means a fresh look at your whole world and what can be updated/optimized/refactored. Its wonderful and daunting each time!

010

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

There are new Previews each week. If you are asking about iOS slots, those open up each month.

100

Josh Mulanax @jorax.bsky.social · 08/04/2025

New slots open up each month - keep an eye out here for announcements. I know it is frustrating to have to wait, but it is a limitation of the program we all have to deal with unfortunately. Good luck!

I have a plushie collecting problem truth be told. I have many more at home...

Sorry I missed this, busy week! We typically release at 9am Pacific time (PST or PDT, depending on the month). I know this can get confusing when we've changed times but other regions haven't yet!
