Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 29/09/2026With the right set of utilities, it's easy to get two independent oscillations from Flow 3: a looping envelope and a self-oscillating filter. Learn more tricks with Flow 3 for maximum satisfaction in our latest YouTube video! 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 22/09/2026There's several ways to create pulse width modulated waves with our system, especially if you like to build things from the ground up—like we do. In this example, Simon shows how to create PWM by simply using Collide 4's built-in tools. 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 15/09/2026With a little help from Compare 2, Select 2 lets you perform full wave rectification on any audio or CV source. Simon demonstrates how it works. PS: the 'absolute' switch on Warp 1 makes full wave rectification even more straightforward. 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 08/09/2026We don't like feedback patching—we love it. In this patch Flow 3 is used as a crossover for a sound coming from Generate 3. While the LP and HP outputs are processed seperately through a Fold 6 and Warp 1, the BP out is used for FM on the oscillator, thus closing the feedback loop. Fun times! 000
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Flow 3 is perfectly suited for creating percussion or kick drum sounds. All you need is a trigger! If you then combine Flow 3's envelope output with Pivot 2 and some creative patching, you end up with something that sounds a lot like sidechain compression. Just add bass to taste! 010

Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Whenever you need one more VCA for your patch, Pivot 2 can perform that duty. Simply send your signal into the return jack of one channel, connect the send jack of the other channel to your output device, and you're a step closer to finishing your patch! 000
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 11/08/2026"Sometimes I prefer the unquantised nature of Step 8. It allows me to create endless variations of a melody by adjusting the sliders ever so slightly (or a lot, for that matter)! It's a real hands-on experience."—Simon 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Eight years ago to the day, Filter 8 was released. Even though we still consider Filter 8 the epitome of multi-functional filter technology, we are more than proud to soon release our new Auto-Dynamic Filter, Flow 3, into the wild. We can't wait to hear what you create with it! 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 04/08/2026The classic side-chain 'ducking' sound can be achieved several ways, but one of them is using the normalisations of Pivot 2 to your advantage. No compressors were harmed during the making of this video. 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 28/07/2026Whether you're using a mono or stereo source, Enhance 2 gives you CV control over panning or balance. You could go all the way up to audio rate modulation, or use a stepped random signal, like in this example. Headphones or stereo speakers recommended! 000
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 21/07/2026With Pivot 2 it's as easy as turning a knob—or sending in control voltage—to experiment with variable audio processor routing. In this video we're pivoting between Warp 1 and Collide 4 by routing a simple triangle LFO to the pivot modulation input, seamlessly rearranging the signal path. 000
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 14/07/2026When you send a stereo source into Enhance 2, it's a lot of fun to explore processing the mid and side bands seperately. In this video, Collide 4 is used to process the mid part of the signal. Pretty cool, wouldn't you agree? 000
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 07/07/2026By sending control voltage into Step 8's stage input you can step through the stages whichever way you like. In this example we created a pendulum motion (like a clock)! What's your favourite way of controlling Step 8? 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Patching the outputs of a self-oscillating Filter 8 back into its inputs is something you need to try if you haven't already. Simon demonstrates how to create saw-like oscillations using the exponential FM input. 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 23/06/2026Cycle 5's vari-wave CV input lets you modulate the shape of the oscillations coming from the vari-wave output. The harmonic intensity goes up with increasing CV, so you can approximate classic subtractive filter modulation just by controlling the vari-wave parameter with an envelope. 020
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 16/06/2026With Step 8 you can combine track-and-hold with hocketing, the technique of distributing one melody to several voices. Using this method you can control up to 8 voices for a beautiful polyphonic ballet of sounds. We absolutely love it! What about you? 020
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Step 8 can be used as a shift register, for hocketing or as an 8 stage sample and hold... but it excels as a sequencer taking control over several voices and percussion all at the same time. Learn more about Step 8 in the manual on our website! 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Route 4 is a signal routing swiss-knife—you can do all kinds of cool tricks with it. Because 1 V is normalised to each of the routing inputs, you can use it for transposing your sequences or creating arps like we did in this clip. #route4 #arp 010
Joranalogue Audio Design @joranalogue.bsky.social · 26/05/2026By patching feedback you can induce all kinds of interesting behaviours. In this patch we explore wavefolding on Generate 3, by patching the core output back into the phase modulation input. Multiphonic signal folds for the win. 020
