I have a confession to make… I actually can’t grow hair on the sides of my face. Native, so not a big surprise there. 🤷 But it means I literally can’t grow a beard. Just chin and mustache hair. Less than a month away from being 30. But Lakota genetics said “STOP. No hair on the sides, please.”

Something really fucked up about BQ based citizenship, is that BQ and white passing-ness are ≠. Even from sibling to sibling, one can be white passing, one could not. With the same BQ, they would both be denied tribal ID. And with the detainments of brown people right now, that’s very dangerous.

With multiple tribes putting out statements warning their citizens that they could be detained by ICE, I’m very scared for elders that could be out just getting groceries. They could not understand what’s going on, they could be confused, they could not know this is happening and not be prepared.

I was doing a series on TikTok, but that place is something else now. So I’m going to reboot the series and continue it here! Expect a flood of videos coming.

As much as I love to create, and share what I create with others, all this has me thinking of getting off all social media. Not sure about it yet. But maybe I should just add the people I don’t want to loose touch with on discord. Or straight post my discord code. This stuff has me thinking.🤔 😬

I’ve just come to the realization that every social media is comprised…. Like all we got is I blusky and… YouTube??? Twitch is own by Amazon so that’s sketch. And Twitter, Instagram, FB, and now TikTok? All fucked, all sketchy as hell now. The implications of not having a real voice are scary.
