CS Lewis had v problematic views of women/femininity, but he also believed in the possible redemption of all, even those in hell (as in The Great Divorce) 120

You can recognise quality long before you can replicate it, and that is inherently demoralising, and the only way through is to make lots of bad art until it gets good. 120
