We're 86% of the way to our initial $5K goal as we sue the FBI for important 9/11 photos. Thank you to our first 100 donors. This is about much more than the disposable camera. It's about a mountain of other unreleased records; transparency; and abuse of FOIA exemptions.

"32 Frames" is a self-funded passion project. We all worked for free. We hope you'll watch it; we hope we did the photographer justice; and we're grateful for everyone who spoke with and assisted us. 32frames.com

We believe the photographer died minutes later. The man in white is CBS News cameraman Mark LaGanga, who we interviewed (nice guy). It took a quarter-century for this photo to surface. We're close to losing so much 9/11 media, and we have to fight to save it.

This is a previously unpublished photo of 9/11, taken at the base of the North Tower of the World Trade Center shortly before it collapsed. It was developed from a previously unknown rubble camera, which we investigate in our film, "32 Frames: A 9/11 Mystery".

A lone cameraman in a white shirt stands in the rubble of the South Tower of the World Trade Center, filming, minutes before the North Tower collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.

I'm in Lisbon. Cell service was out for hours. Spotty now. People raided grocery stores + ATMs earlier, but all is calm. The last gasp of sunlight is vanishing over a darkened city.

In late 2019, on the eve of Covid, I watched "Years and Years," a dystopian series (BBC/HBO) by Russell T. Davies. My favorite show of the past decade. A clear-eyed, tinged-with-dark-humor view of a world to be that now, in many ways, was. Highly recommend: www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/years_and...
