(I say this in jest, mostly because it's not fair to the chimpanzee.)

Happy caturday - hope it's a comfortable and quiet one.

A grey tabby cat is sleeping on a couch, with his head pressed against my arm.

Here's a Miso from the shelter I volunteer at. He's just a tabby, and a little ornery, but I know he'll find his family soon.

Miso is a brown tabby boy. He's sitting on a windowsill looking at the camera with light green eyes. He's a scamp, but learning to interact with people without biting them.

She's got the classic tabby "M" on her forehead, so I think she qualifies. She's a lovely cat either way.

There's also torbies, which are tortoiseshell with the tabby patterning. The tabby genes are strong.

Looks like a tabico, which is a calico with tabby patterning.

Lazy Sunday afternoon with Kamau

A grey tabby cat sleeps on a white and gray striped blanket. His front paws are tucked under his chin, like a pillow.

Exciting Mrs. Doubtfire update : she's got a pending application, which means an adoption counselor is checking references to make sure she'd be a good fit. Someone's also paid her adoption fee already, as her Guardian Angel. If that was one of you, thank you!

A white cat with black markings stands on a towel covering a plush cat bed. She's staring past the camera, waiting for some pets.

I volunteer there! She's very sweet and friendly, perfect for someone who doesn't want the chaotic kitten energy.

Overdue cat taxes - here's Gilligan and Mowgli

A grey and white tabby sleeps in a cat bed shaped like a spider.

A brown tabby with white jowls and chin rests on a window perch. He has resting grumpy face, but is very sweet.

Tungsten carbide is hard to cut, but brittle, so a stuck ring can be cracked to get it off. Still, silicone rings just seem a lot safer all-around, and have more color options, too.
