This was the last miniature I’ve painted in 2024, it’s Castellan Crowe. I flexed my muscles painting true metalic metal and the high contrast white robe. Note the freehand on the cape. #warhammer40k #warhammerpainting #miniaturepainting #minipainting #greyknights #greyknights40k #castellancrowe

Last part or the female catachan conversion

010 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

Second part of the female Catachan, I tried to make them all unique and give them different appropriate punk hair colours

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

This is the female catachan “conversion” I made from a clan eshin gang kit. I’ve cut all the spikes and sculpted pants on them with green stuff (1/3)

I find it very funny that captain Simian look like Nathan Fillion in Firefly even though it’s older than Firefly

The problem with solar power is that at peak production time the energy that is generated and not used must be stored. If not, at best it is wasted, at worst it generates unbalances in the grid that can be damaging to the transmission lines/equipment. Electric cars are great batteries for the energy

Dude, you used the men wrong, Hans Molesman should be saying “I was was saying that I think for profit healthcare is unethical”, the joke being that Smithers tries to comfort Mr Burns by saying he heard something better what everyone said, and the only one who said what Smithers said was molesman

If you liked any of the Heresy lab miniatures in the previous post, you can find them either on their website heresylab.com/fantasy/ or in my mini factory www.myminifactory.com/users/Heresy... (this is not sponsored I just like the miniature)

Citadel Finecast Witch Hunter. I hated this model almost as much as I hated the sigmarite Prost. It’s models like this that give Finecast so bad a reputation, all the criticism present in the previous one also applies to this one

010 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Citadel Finecast Sigmarite priest dual wielding hammers. He was a paint to paint, all the wonky edges, he sharp angles and the weirdly sculpted details. It’s like he’s made with the PS1 3D engine. I like to imagine that he’s swinging his hammer so fast that it bends from the sheer speed of the blow

Imperial engineer 2, he’s afraid that his thoughts will be read by the enemy so he uses a lead helmet. His neck hurts very much

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Imperial engineer, he’s got his his head in the spheres. The spheres are painted to have a pearlescent effect

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The other witch hunter by Heresy labs. He’s got a smoking hat. Very cool miniature indeed and great to paint too.

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

A nature mage by Heresy labs. He’s been painted to look like a Druid from Asterix and Obelix. He’s reading “Icha Icha Paradise”

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The witch hunter’s loyal dog, he’s a very good boy

110 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

A witch hunter, also by heresy labs, the client glued the torches backwards, but no problem, it’s a very shallow just of wind curving

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The poor guy who’s being dragged kicking and screaming by the executioner. He was condemned to death for… jaywalking. The missing hand of the executioner is attached to his head

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The town executioner, also by Heresy Labs, he wears red trousers to avoid having to wash his pants every day after work. His ax was broken but still looks good

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The town crier by Heresy Labs, I’ve painted him to resemble Homer Simpson in Lisa the Iconoclast(actually it’s Flanders the one who dressed up as the crier, but Mandela effect is strong in me). I like his hat

100 1

Joan Martorell Escalante @jonswow.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Heresy Lab archer, which I’ve painted to look like Robin Hood, his arms look weird because my customer accidentally cut the arms wrong. Still looks good. Pretend it’s Peter Dinklage on stilts

No, you’re listening. It does not count as reading. Counts as absorbing information transmited by the medium, but it’s not the same. I used to read a lot, but now that I have little time I have to listen to audiobooks and it’s not the same, it does not feel the same
