Very appropriately, seen in Heathrow airport on my way to Copenhagen where I'll be meeting up with @kevlin.bsky.social.

The moon behind the clouds looks amazing here at the moment. This photo doesn't actually capture it well - it's much less bright in reality - but feels cool in itself.
The moon with layers of cloud in front of it, making the glow seem bigger.

Visiting Cambridge after many years away, and this makes me so sad - when I think back to student days, having an occasional burger from Gardies is one of the strongest memories.

Full marks to the BBC weather site for correctly showing the repetition of 1am in the UK this weekend. (Hopefully most other weather sites get this right too...)
Weather forecast showing 1am happening twice on Sunday morning in the UK, due to the clocks going back (2am=>1am).

"Dragon" is to "pile of gold" as "cat" is to "coffee machine".

I believe there are people who believe a cupboard under the stairs doesn't really need a Dante-based speaker and conference room microphone. I'm not one of those people.

Signed Hadestown poster is now framed and hanging in my home office / shed. (In the one space left that isn't taken up with Miro lithographs...)

Interval at Hadestown with Allie Daniel as Hermes. Ooh, she's very good :) (I've been looking forward to seeing her as Hermes since Feb 2024...)
Hadestown cast list. Principals:

Eurydice: Desmonda Cathabel
Hades: Chris Jarman

Okay, so now I have a rather large Dante-enabled pendant speaker (admittedly without the hanging accessories). It sounds great, I love that it only needs a network cable. Absolute bargain (about $60) so I couldn't resist. Not actually sure what I'm going to do with it though...

They sang it again - and it was extra special being with two of my kids for it. Ah.

Boo, no real flowers allowed in the theatre. Not to worry. But I get the feeling these cameras might be a touch more expensive than the ones we have at church...

I'm ready with carnations... expecting to keep one for myself, but give the others to whoever expresses an interest.

Original Broadway Epic III, but still the faster Nothing Changes (Fates, after Papers). All stunning.

Ooh yes, it's on. Looking forward to a performance with an audience of 99% die-hard fans. Although I did hear one person saying they hadn't seen it before - not sure how they ended up in this particular performance, but I'm slightly jealous of the mind-blowing they're about to experience...

Oh, look where I am again. Just kidding, we're seeing Oliver tonight. (Back for Hadestown OBC on March 7th...)

It's not pretty, but it works. (There's more work to do in order to detect Boolean values, handle string/float enums etc, but it's a start. And it found a subtle bug in my code!)

Today I've added some tweaks, and bought a kiosk mode app for the tablet, making it as close to "plug and pray" as I could reasonably hope. I just need to work out a little bit of physical device security (basically "where we can store and charge") and we're away...
