I'm gonna say this... I thought the game yesterday was fascinating, not dull. It ebbed and flowed, each team figuring out small tactical changes that the other team made and responding accordingly. And Everton's defence was a masterclass.

Just a thought. What if we "only" bring in Grealish and Balogun? I'd be worried and would consider it a real failure of a window to leave ourselves with only 1 recognised full back. But also excited about Grealish and Balogun.

I'm not particularly Moyes In or Out. I think Myko is ok and a reasonable defender. And I don't worry about Röhl, JO'B or Patto playing RB. Though Garner is better than all 3. I do think this season is make or break for Moyes tho. And we'll reap the rewards of last summer more than this summer.

Ya know how people talk about a DCM being a 'no. 6'. Well shouldn't it be a 'no. 4' - left over from the change in formation when teams just had 2 'full' backs? Ie: GK - 1 RFB - 2 LFB - 3 RCB - 5 LCB - 6 CDM - 4 CM - 8 RW - 7 LW - 11 No. 10 - 10 (obvs) CF - 9

Here's a thought. Not saying I agree but what if the club aren't as bothered about a RB as we think? What if they reckon we have 4 players who can cover the position, so it's not worth spending much, if anything, this summer - although they will try to get one if they can?

Seen we've agreed a few for Norton Cuffy and earlier in the week for Pape Gueye. I always assume we agree fees in principle for about 25 players a year, maybe more. Probs agree terms with players too, but players dont happen because one or more parties are waiting for something else to happen. 🧵

I'm gonna say it: I am excited about the World Cup. I hate Trump and FIFA. And I don't think England will win (although I really hope they do). But you can't give me enough of Iran vs New Zealand at 2am on a Tuesday morning and I cant wait for it all to start!

I'm going to be a bit edgy here, but I quite like that England squad. Not sure about Quansah and Dan Burn, but overall it looks alright to me. Just hope he uses it as a squad rather than a 1st 11 + subs. Teams that win tournaments have a core but also rotate starters way more than us in the past.
