"How To Make A Modern New Super Hero World From Scratcg," aka this book in a nutshell. Starts off very simple but then scales perfectly. Loving this.

Jack Black's performance as Steve is just Jack Black acting more Jack Black than usual.

The Villager in this movie is a CGI nightmare demon far worse than any vampire baby from Twilight.

Jennifer Coolidge continues the trend of singlehandedly elevating any project that is lucky enough to have her. Even a cash grab movie about a 15 year old game.

Both The Fellowship of the Ring and The Minecraft Movie have 8 minute prologues with narrated exposition introducing the audience to a fantasy world with a special all-powerful artifact. Coincidence?

Bill Pullman as the president in Independence Day was facing 15 mile wide alien spaceships invading his country and capitol and still chose to stay and help. What a fantasy.

2025 is turning into an IRL horror film. Makes sense that the best movies of the year so far are all the same genre.

I watched this after doing our episode of Stinky Pop Quiz with @halcyonben.bsky.social. This is suuuuuuuch a late 2000's movie. So silly.

4 months into the year and my movie count is at 145. I'm almost a month ahead of my goal of at least 1 movie every day of the year.

Thunderbolts is just Inside Out 3 by way of Marvel Comics. I actually enjoyed it a lot.

My hot take of the day is that all of the Star Wars trilogy movies were given such forgettable names, I can hardly keep them apart in my head. The one exception is Phantom Menace for some reason.

I'm going back to using Adobe Photoshop 5.0 because everything was better in 2000 with just me and my Sony Vaio PCV-RX550.

I don't know how to use social media anymore. Is there like a Ted Talk I can watch to tell me how to have fun with it without getting yelled at by bigots and bullies?
