IT'S ME. Returning to my beloved Luna Press, who first opened the door to publishing for me. This book is one I am so proud of, guys, it's strange & hopeful & sad, and I'm so glad it gets to live 🖤

Dr Lindz McLeod - THE MISEDUCATION OF CAROLINE BINGLEY out now! @lindzmcleod.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
About half an hour ago, I passed my viva and became Dr Lindz McLeod. I don't post a lot of selfies but this is the slightly teary face of someone who busted their butt for three years (while working! while writing multiple other books!) to earn this degree.
A white person with blonde hair and round glasses smiles at the camera with teary eyes. They are wearing a brown satin shirt. The wall behind them is a peaceful sage green.

'A great, great read.' Thanks to lovely Vic Galloway for the shout out to ‘In Another World’ on his show last night – which is a great, great listen, not least because Vic played 3 tracks from this week's featured AAA (all-time alternative album), The Colour of Spring www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Not sure how this made it into a book for babies. The last time I saw something this horrific Sigourney Weaver was blowing it out of an airlock 🦗

One of those Jack London stories that’s brilliant but so brutal that after finishing it you’ll need a cup of tea, a lie down and possibly some counselling
The opening passage of the short story Lost Face by Jack London, describing the fur-thief Subienkow waiting to be tortured to death

I am gobsmacked and beyond excited at being picked for this @edincityoflit.bsky.social residency. Two weeks in Scotland with two Japanese writers, Eight Tenkawa and Heisuke Kitazawa, then myself and Morag Hood are off to Okayama for two weeks in March. Amazing. cityofliterature.com/two-authors-...

Can’t help feeling the honour of having a plaque made for you is somewhat diminished when they choose to put it on a bin
