A recipe for “Iced Beer Soup”, which contains pumpernickel crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, lemon rind, lemon juice, water, WHITE WINE, and beer. And tells you to shake it vigorously. (Which would totally cause an explosion unless beer back then had very minimal carbonation.)

It’s pepper fermenting season! Lots and lots of green jalapeños, anaheims, and poblanos. A few red jalapeños and a few Aji Lemons, which I’ve never used before.

Five sealed plastic bags sit on a counter, containing chopped up peppers of similar colors inside. Three are green, one is red, and one is a sunny yellow.

This stage of life is so freaking weird. I hadn’t checked Clue in a while, and went in today because I mysteriously felt cramps. Is my period coming? Who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know about #KoReader for the kindle 4 — so far it seems clunky and confusing to me, especially with buttons instead of a touchscreen. But the kindle reading software is just fine, especially with #Calibre managing which books are on it. No, the best part of jailbreaking is this!

Finally warped, right before my aura hit. Good timing, I guess. I’d been wondering why I was over warm all morning even though it was 69, turns out that’s a prodrome symptom. Anyhow, my 10lb kettlebells are great for weighting down my loom.

Taking a break from #RigidHeddleWeaving and warping to do #TabletWeaving. I really like this pattern — interesting enough to stay focused but not so complicated that I can’t do it with the TV on. Also way more comfy for my back.

I’m weaving on an airplane, which I’ve seen done by Lady Elweys, but involved an awkward angle to use the neighboring seat’s tray for a backstrap. This is the Inklette and is one of the few spots it excels. It could use a clamp to anchor it to the tray though. #TabletWeaving

Next up, some absolutely stunning cloisonné Shishi from the Quing dynasty. Holy tomole I couldn’t capture these and their vibrancy, but they had both of them plus some horses that looked like the same artist.

And, I’m onto the part we all think of as weaving! Fun, though this yarn is a tad sticky, making some sheds a bit hard to open. And then very problematic when I need to unweave to fix a mistake. As long as I make no errors, I’m good tho. :-) #weaving #rigidheddle
