Dun got a job to draw Emilia from the adorable vampire webtoon in this here nurse outfit. We'll probably have to revisit this one in canon.

This is Anyango. Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29 is a cute show with a buncha kiddos in it. It's a -relatively- wholesome experience, all things considered. If you want to argue, remember that I did say -relatively-

I believe my problem is that I am not being French enough when I draw. I will endeavor to draw more French-like. "Je suis Jerque." Is my new motto.

Finally got one of them textured covers for my gigantic screen tablet. It's kinda badass! Unfortunately, I am now forced to correct my habitual imprecision, which I had previously blamed on the slick glass surface of the tablet screen.

Ferrets! Also this textured tablet cover can chew up one of my Huion brand felt nibs in maybe two days of my normal drawing workload. I still say the feel is worth any cost, but I do recall wacom's felt nibs being a lot tougher, back when I drew on one with a sheet of paper taped to the surface.

So my Huion was compatible with a newfangled "slim" stylus model... which I ordered... The cool part is that those styluses use different nibs, and then the felt nibs of that classification are MUUCH sturdier. They have better action on the textured surface cover, too.

Exploitation Now was the first webcomic I read through. Michael Poe was a cool pal when I finally got good enough at drawing to breathe the same air as him. His passing has reminded me to honor him with my benevolent character theft. (which we already discussed.) I'll do you proud, brother.

A little number for @theoctopusman.bsky.social of Helen, (redneck princess) acclimating to suburban life, officer Guy Wolf on the premises. This technically qualifies as a Pandorango comic since she's Cassidy's history teacher, but focusing on her now would fray the scope of the narrative.

I don't do a lot of redraws, since strict redrawing bores me. But it's nice to see how a little cleanliness and structure affected these designs. That being said, now I have to run to the other side of the scale and figure out how to make things livelier. The never ending struggle!

I set all my old stock of one-shot comics to upload once every two days on my comicfury account (www.pandorango.com) Should last until March end. Nowadays if I draw a one-shot comic, I'm always thinking it would serve better as part of a bigger story, and then I expand on it and I'm always right.

I think I got my process figured out in more concrete, generally acceptable terms which other pro-arters also say, so I don't sound completely insane: 1) Draw by feel, not by sight. (Sculpt with the pencil) 2) Draw actions, not things. (Normal animator advice.) 3) Draw what's good. Not what is.
