The proposal is not presriptive and more work needs to be done to make it a reality, but the idea as far as I am concerned would be to charge non residents for general tours (Belfast City Hall charges £6 per adult) and also more bespoke experiences (twilight tours, weddings etc.)

It was voted as part of the budget in March. I didn't vote for the budget but a majority of the board did. I brought a motion to reverse it in June which resulted in a 7-7 tied vote but there was a subsequent ruling that my motion was not competent. It is a shitshow.
