Dolly genuinely tried to make the world a better place. And I'd say she succeeded. Devastated.

Absolutely gutted by this news. Once was life changing for me. Recently saw the new production by @pitlochryft.bsky.social , which was wonderful.

The swifts are back! Heard their telltale 'screams' out the back this morning. They're awesome.

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains. No question, Propellerheads' Decksanddrumaandrockandroll is a certified banger.

PSA to #photography YouTubers. I love your videos. I really do. But you really don't need an over-loud shutter noise when you put a picture on screen. We get it. We can tell that it's a photo without a sound effect. It's incredibly annoying. Please don't do it. /End rant. #photographersofbluesky

14. And I'm not even from there. And that doesn't include airport stopovers.

About Time. No question, it makes me crazy like a bastard every time. I want Bill Nighy to be my dad.

I've told this before but...I shared an extremely slow hotel toaster with Elijah Wood.

Something for the #BlueSkyArtShow on the subject of #light, more #streetphotography from New York. #photography

A street crossing in New York, a group of people waiting to cross cast long bold shadows. This image is black and white and high contrast.

There will be a short pause in (photographic) service in my posts as my beloved and new (to me) Leica goes back for repair, thanks to a sticky shutter. I am bereft. (First world problems). Meanwhile, from the archives, a shot from Paris. #leica #streetphotography

It wasn't a crisis because people like me and my teams worked out asses off to make sure that it was a "nonevent". This post is tone deaf and frankly insulting.

Saw Hello Dolly! at the Lido2 in Paris this evening. Fantastic show, ably led by Caroline O'Connor and the legend Peter Polycarpou. Go see it if you're in town!

Reminds me of the scene in Shaun of the Dead where the group meet a similar but different group travelling in the opposite direction - a great gag and a potential window into an entirely different movie.

Finished my reread of the Dark Tower series tonight. I get something different - something more - from it every time. Will read something else for a bit then go back for Wind Through the Keyhole I think.

When I was a kid there was an estate agent talking to my parents who kept using "At the end of the day". Irritated me then. Now I hear "at the end of the day" and I can't help but follow it with "you're another day older"...
